De-escalation Techniques Course

Sundahl & Associates is offering a course in de-escalation techniques in the workplace. We offer group training to schools, college districts, universities, hospitals, and virtually any business who values the importance of de-escalating a volatile situation.  

The course will cover verbal and non-verbal techniques necessary to de-escalate a potential volatile situation for a peaceful resolution.  Some of the skills we seek to enhance are listening skills, acceptance of criticism, and speaking skills. We will cover the underlying principals of threat management.

How do you deal with people who are difficult or different? We will address this question by covering factors such as stereotyping, attitude, substance abuse, and mental illness.

All of our instructors have “real-world” experience de-escalating threatening and non-threatening situations.
