About us:

Sundahl & Associates is the only corporation in the United States offering Private Patrol Operator (PPO) Exam preparation with its corporation accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Not all businesses are able to meet the battery of professional standards of the BBB. Prior to becoming accredited, we had to submit our BSIS licensing information, Secretary of State Entity number, and other pertinent documents such as verifying our physical office location. Through the BBB, a company’s reputation is open to the public and subject to criticism. Some companies who offer similar services have a special section listed in the BBB to accommodate all of the complaints they generate. Some websites do not even publish the name of the owner for fear the public might inquire into their past history with clients.

Instructor

Shaun E. Sundahl is a former Police Sergeant, current Criminal Justice instructor, Private Investigator, BSIS Firearms Instructor, PPO Qualified Manager, and Criminal Justice Mentor. He has studied two years of law school and holds a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. Shaun is currently enrolled in a graduate program for his Masters of Public Administration. And last, Shaun passed the PPO and PI exam his first time in February 2010, using the same system he wishes to present to you.

Hours

The seminar will take approximately 2-4 hours, depending on the client(s).

Price

The price is $350 per person. If you already purchased the PPO Simulator, the price is only $175. Please bring exact cash or money order.


Seating:

We cannot accept more than 8 PPO applicants due to limited spacing and to facilitate the best learning environment. To reserve a seat, please make a deposit of $175.00. The deposit is non-refundable and clients who do not appear for the course will forfeit their deposit.

Type of Students

Many of our clients come from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds. Most of our clients have been veterans or experienced professionals either in the law enforcement, security, or business field. We have trained federal agents, retired police officers, and people with Master degrees. Even the brightest fall prey to the “adversary system” of BSIS testing.

Information:

Many of our PPO Simulator ^TM (online ppo practice test, basically study material) clients have asked about a seminar or a PPO course. In the past we have met with clients face-to-face and studied with them to pass the PPO test. The seminar includes 30 days of access to the PPO Simulator ^TM We will cover security management roles, statutory duties of the PPO. We will “dissect” the “black book,” discuss human resource issues, and talk about the infamous “security guard fueling up the client’s car” scenario. The method of instruction is fundamentally seminar-based.

We will “round table” current issues on the PPO Test since that is the way our successful PPO Simulator was created ^TM. We’ve learned the best way to learn is for other PPO applicants to discuss issues they are having. The instructor does not always have the best answer, but by the process of “round table,” the client will have a diversity of suggestions and/or answers. This will assist the client by being able to better rationalize their choices during the PPO exam.
